Founded in 1901, Ideal Standard makes a large number of bathroom and sanitaryware products. It is known throughout the world for manufacturing quality and design elegance. The modern company, Ideal Standard International, was begun in 2007 and has its headquarters in Belgium. The durable Fine Fireclay construction used for this particular hand basin means that you can expect it to last a very long time indeed. As an alternative, why not browse the Waverley range? The Waverley basin looks great next to a Waverley bath and it will set off a traditional looking bathroom quite perfectly. With tasteful fluting on the optional pedestal and a charming ridge built into the unit, this hand basin exudes a certain character and even self-confidence. For the traditional look, opt for a two-hole Waverley basin and install it with a pair of pillar taps.
